We've begun to expect a crew with the beginner's tour, but I do think this was the biggest yet (18 total, six of whom were staff [I think]). We made due though with the vast expanse that is Jenny Lind outside Apex. We took one dense tree lap as a big group, which sucked, and we lost one in the chaos, but Anthony and I went to track them down and discovered him further up the gully.
From then on we split into groups and began lapping the low angle trees to the west. We dug some pits, which confirmed the high danger status from the
CAIC. Zach took some notes, which he'll hopefully post up here sometime.
The windloaded snow proved to be nicely skiable though as we all got to enjoy it quite thoroughly. And upon skiing back to the car we found a backflip booter that Greg and company had built out of a stump, collected footage of Daan below:
